We are living in a time when ecological destruction and solipsistic individualism deserve to be at the center of our collective attention more than ever before. With this urgency in mind, we will gather in Paris on July 11, 2025 for the Forum on Ecological Art Practices.
This forum is envisioned as a space to rethink the relationship between art and ecology, and to cultivate ways of feeling, moving, and thinking together. It seeks a shared understanding shaped around the concepts of ritual, rhythm, and arithmos— the act of counting those who gather. Focusing on environmentally conscious artistic practices and collective approaches, the forum will bring together artists, researchers, and performers from around the world to share their work on ecological thinking and creative expression. Through talks, artistic presentations, and music workshops, the gathering will offer participants the opportunity to build bridges between sound, rhythm, and ecological sensitivity.
We warmly invite everyone to our first forum gathering in Paris. We also welcome speakers who work in the fields of ecology and art and wish to contribute.
